The Municipal Development Officers Association of Nova Scotia (MDOANS) was created in 1975 as a not-for-profit organization. The Association’s mandate is to provide support to persons engaged in the field of Municipal Development Control, to advance the quality of development control in the province, and to encourage the interchange of ideas and experiences among members. The Association has over 100 members, both Regular and Associate, from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
