2020 Spring Conference May 6, 7 & 8 - POSTPONED INDEFINITELY (Possible Fall Conference to be considered at a later date)
Agenda to follow
The Municipal Development Officers Association of Nova Scotia (MDOANS) was created in 1975 as a not-for-profit organization. The Association’s mandate is to provide support to persons engaged in the field of Municipal Development Control, to advance the quality of development control in the province, and to encourage the interchange of ideas and experiences among members. The Association has over 100 members, both Regular and Associate, from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
We are always looking for members to volunteer their time to make a presentation to the 2nd year students enrolled in the Planning: Land Information Technology program at COGS. They are open to any development related topics such as Variances, Site Plans, Subdivision Process and Development Agreements. The presentations would normally run for a couple of hours in an informal environment similar to our round table sessions. Mileage and related expenses are covered. Contact the Executive for more information.
